🎋 Skoda Octavia Central Locking Not Working
Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020) Rear door lock, does not lock, implausible signal, but VCDS shows closed and locked 197128 - Lock Module for Central Locking; I have tried to squish the sheath back in the lengthen the cable length and it is currently working!!
Yes, the lock mechanism works smoothly but I originally had a problem with the locking system intermittently not locking the drivers door. Once I turned off the the automatic locking in the convenience group (The one that automatically locks the doors over 7 miles per hour) I was able to lock my drivers door via remote with no problems.
Check the lamps work separately as reading lamps, when the doors are closed, by working the individual switches. Yeah, the work as a courtesy light when the switch is moved to the on position both when the engine is on and off. The lights also work separately as reading lights too.

My 2018 Octavia unlocks all doors and boot with a single press of the unlock key, and unlocks the boot only if you hold down the boot key. I wasn't aware of any double press methods. You can alter the lock/unlock arrangements in either the car menu or settings in the main screen in the car, but I haven't studied the available options in great

Step 2. 2.1) Press on the middle portion of the lock/unlock switch really hard to get it out of its holding locks. DO NOT push hard on the actual switches, just on the middle of the switch, refer below picture. 2.2) The switch will pop out underneath.
